Just got back home. Everything went really, really well. Thanks for your prayers and good wishes. They meant so much to me. I have to take a little nap now.

A Brief Programming Note
Well, the day has finally arrived: I’ll be in the hospital later today for the long-awaited procedure which is designed to restore my heartbeat to its normal rhythm. I’ll be undergoing this procedure at 11am today (Monday) at the University of Michigan Hospital in Ann Arbor which, believe me, sucks more than I—as a proud Michigan State University Spartan—can hardly express.
I know I haven’t been a very good blogger these past few months. It is my hope and belief that once I put this little heartbeat irritation behind me I’ll be right back to my old sarcastic and altogether unpleasant self. I look forward to it.
I appreciate all of your good thoughts. I am sorry to Nomi that your e-mails have gone unanswered. Your concern has meant a great deal to me.
The procedure is supposed to take four hours. I’ll try to get a Tweet off after it’s over, but I may be out of it. (Diladud, ask for it my name!)
My wife, daughter and Mom are all worried as you might imagine, but my Dr. told me he’s never heard of anyone dying during or subsequent to this procedure and I’d listen to him because, after all, he was pre-med once. Although it may have been pre-law, I can’t be sure. The literature I read indicated a 1/3000 chance of experiencing a fatal event. I’ve decided to withhold this nugget from my family. Besides, I read it to mean that they could perform this operation on me 2,999 times before they managed to kill me. So, I’ve got that going for me.
I’ll talk to you on the other side. I love you all…

Limbaugh Jumps The Shark
This is gonna be...outta here! This is gonna be a bigger deal that whatever racist crap this pig had to say about a black QB. Way so much more. This boy has just, today, talked himself right out of existence. I don't know why it didn't occur to me that he'd do this someday but it didn't, but now he has. See 'ya 'round, bleepwad!
